How it works

Describe the job
Add photos, a short video or a voice note. Share a budget range, or tick “Not sure”. Sending a request is free.

Local Service Providers see it
It goes to Service Providers who offer that service in your area. They see your barangay and city, not your exact address.

Get a quote
The first Service Provider to quote sends the price, what is included and when they can come. Accept it, or decline with a reason and your request goes back out.

Confirm and chat
See any service fee and the total, then confirm in the app. Chat with your Service Provider, and rate the job when it is done.
Adding money to the app is paused during early access, so a new account cannot pay for a booking yet. Service Providers are still joining in Metro Cebu, so a quote may take time or may not come yet.

Questions
What does early access mean?
onService is open to invited testers in Metro Cebu for now. Public sign-up and payments in the app are not open yet.
You can install the Android app or open the web app now, but you need an invitation to sign in until public sign-up opens.
Service Providers are still joining, so a quote may take time or may not come yet.
How much does it cost?
Sending a request is free. The Service Provider quotes your job. Before you confirm, the app shows their price, any service fee and the total. You pay only when you confirm a booking.
Adding money to the app is paused during early access, so a new account cannot pay for a booking yet. Please do not pay a Service Provider in cash or outside the app.
How do I install the Android app?
- Tap Download for Android on this page. Download onService only from www.onservice.ph.
- If Chrome asks whether to keep the file, tap Download anyway.
- Open the onService file from the notification or from your Downloads. If you downloaded onService before, open the newest file.
- If Android says your browser is not allowed to install unknown apps, tap Settings, switch on Allow from this source, then go back.
- Tap Install. If Google Play Protect shows a message, read it. You can let it scan the app first. Then open onService.
Android shows warnings like these for apps from outside Google Play. The exact words differ between phones.
We never send the app file by chat, text or email. If someone sends you one, do not open it.

The file downloads from app.onservice.ph. Every onService Android app is signed with the same release certificate. Its SHA-256 fingerprint is:

I have an iPhone. Can I use onService?
Yes, in the web app. There is no iPhone app yet. Open app.onservice.ph in Safari. Voice notes work only in the Android app for now.
Who sees my address?
Service Providers who see your request get your barangay and city only. Your exact address goes only to the Service Provider whose quote you accept.
What if I do not like the quote?
Decline it and tell us why. Your request goes back out to other local Service Providers.
Which areas do you serve?
We are starting in Metro Cebu: Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue and Talisay.
Is onService on Google Play?
Not yet. Google Play listing coming soon. Until then, download the app only from www.onservice.ph.
How do I get help?
Invited testers can open Help in the app to start a support case. In an emergency, call 911.
