Questions

Does it cost anything to join?

No. Applying is free. onService takes a commission from each booking you are paid for. The app shows the rate and what you receive before you send each quote. Customer payments are paused during early access.

How do I install the app?
  1. Tap Download for Android on this page. Download onService only from www.onservice.ph.
  2. If Chrome asks whether to keep the file, tap Download anyway.
  3. Open the onService file from the notification or from your Downloads. If you downloaded onService before, open the newest file.

How do I get jobs?

When a customer in your area requests a service you offer, it shows in your Requests list while you are online. Check the photos, answers and budget, then send a quote. The first Service Provider to quote gets the request.

Will my phone alert me about new requests?

Not yet. New requests show while the onService app is open. Keep it open and stay online during your working hours.

What if the customer declines my quote?

The customer gives a reason, and the request goes back out to other Service Providers. Other Service Providers see the reason, not your price.

What if the job turns out bigger than my quote?

Send a change order in the app with the reason and the added amount. Do the extra work only after the customer approves it.

Can I apply on the web?

You can start on the web, but the service-area step needs your phone’s location, so you finish in the Android app.

Is there an iPhone app?

Not yet. The Service Provider app is for Android phones only for now.

How long does the review take?

Your status shows in the app. We do not promise a set review time.

Do I need a registered business?

No. Solo workers are welcome. Business registration details are optional for now.
